Dr. Eduardo Cepeda

Dr. Eduardo Cepeda has been practicing in Austin since 2005. He received a bachelor’s degree in biology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and graduated from medical school at Universidad Central del Caribe, Puerto Rico. He then came back to Texas and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, followed by the prestigious Rheumatology fellowship at the University of Texas in Houston. He chose rheumatology as his calling as he enjoys the long-term relationship with his patients and the challenging cases.

Dr. Cepeda is a board-certified Rheumatologist by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. He has earned numerous accolades including being chosen in Super Doctors for several years. Additionally, he has been published in numerous journals and has been involved in many clinical trials.

In his free time, Dr. Cepeda enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Nitzia Cepeda, a pediatrician, and their 3 wonderful children. He enjoys traveling, running, and sports. He is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Brock Harper

Dr. Brock Harper has been practicing in Austin since 2013. He received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Austin College in Sherman, TX and graduated from medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. After medical school, he completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He returned to Texas for his fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX. He returned to Galveston to practice rheumatology at UTMB before relocating to Austin TX. He chose rheumatology as his profession because of the complex and interesting illnesses in the field and the long-term relationship he forms with his patients.

Dr. Harper is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Rheumatology. He has co-authored many scientific papers and participated in many clinical studies. He has been chosen as a Super Doctor for several years.

In his free time, Dr. Harper enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and reading.

Dr. Kevin Osgood

Dr. Kevin Osgood has been practicing in Austin Texas since 2009. Originally he received a bachelor's degree in biology and a master’s degree in clinical geriatrics from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. After graduate school he finished medical education training at the University of Texas Houston Health Science Center. Upon completion of medical school completed medical internship and residency at the University of Colorado in Denver, CO. Fellowship training in rheumatology was completed at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Osgood eventually returned home to Texas to practice rheumatology at the Austin Diagnostic Clinic since 2009.

Dr. Osgood is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Rheumatology and has participated in multiple clinical studies has co-authored several scientific papers. He has been chosen by Texas monthly and Austin monthly as a top physician as well as Super Doctor for several years.

Dr. Osgood enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, coaching youth sports and playing soccer.

Dr. Chris Parker

Dr. Parker is always described by those who know him well as “intensity plus” in any of his endeavors. As medical school valedictorian, he was asked if he thought he was the smartest in his class. He said, “For sure I was far from that! But I knew nobody could work as hard as I was willing to work. I achieved that from effort, not IQ.” He brings to bare the same intensity to teaching and athletics. He was selected as “Teacher of the Year” twice by medical residents and interns. He has also earned many accolades as an athlete, including National Powerlifting Champion, National Record Holder in the Squat, Collegiate All-American in Powerlifting and recently earning his Black Belt in Taekwondo. Bringing together his roles as doctor, teacher and athlete, he believes he was put on earth to minimize suffering and improve quality of life.

Dr. Monty Tew

Dr. Monty Tew is a fifth generation Austinite and a graduate of Westwood High School. He is married and has three sons, all of whom are much more creative than he. Monty graduated Summa Cum Laude from Baylor Univeristy and received his MD with high honor from Baylor College of Medicine in 1996, receiving the Harry Caplovitz award in Internal Medicine and the S. Carl Harvey award for excellence in anatomy. He was an intern and resident at Massachusetts General Hospital from 1996-1999 then served as a fellow in rheumatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston from 1999-2001. While there he worked in an immunogenetics labs and published a number of studies on the role of genetics in rheumatologic disorders which continue to be cited in the medical literature. He has practiced medicine in Austin and Round Rock since 2001. He staffed the rheumatology clinic at Brackenridge Hospital from 2002-2008 and has seen patients at the Volunteer Health Clinic in Austin since 2019. Tew has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Austin Monthly magazine and a Super Doctor by Texas Monthly for a number of years.
